Coat Project - “Winter Garden”

I began with the idea of a winter garden or a frozen spring. This world is where spring has become the new fall, all the joys of spring - light, full of color and optimism but applied to a coat made for winter. My ethos is always to create clothes that bring a smile to people's faces. Additionally, I strive always to show my heritage through my designs, so the coat unveils an equally bright lining of Dutch Wax fabric common to West Africa.
